This is the original design for Block 132. Like the other blocks between 11th & 13th, Block 132 is rectangular rather than square. The lots are the same width as on other blocks (69'), but they're 25 percent deeper than most (160', rather than the standard 128').  The alley is 20 feet wide, making the block's dimensions 276' x 340'.

The streets on the west, south and east sides are 80 feet wide, like most streets downtown. On the block's north side, College Avenue (later known as 12th Street) is 120 feet wide -- the same width as Congress Avenue.
